Echinopsis subdenudata
Echinopsis subdenudata (commonly called domino cactus, night blooming hedgehog, Easter lily cactus) is a species of cactus. It has a globular shape, few spines, with large, white flowers attached to long, green tubes. It occurs in Bolivia, at altitudes of 600–1800 metres. Under its synonym Echinopsis ancistrophora it has gained the Royal Horticultural Society’s Award of Garden Merit.

Echinopsis Subdenudata F. Variegata is known to be a variegated form of the Echinopsis Subdenudata. As the plant matures you can expect it to reach up to around 8 cm (3.2″) tall. The plant is mostly spinless but some have short grayish to brown spines. This plant has mostly green to green-yellow stem colour. When it flowers you can expect white funnel-shaped flowers during the night.

Echinopsis Subdenudata F. Variegata succulents need strong light. When planting this succulent type in a garden, make sure it gets sunlight. Full to partial sun is the best for its growth. It is better to grow outdoor rather than indoor.
This type of succulent prefers a warm climate. It can survive at zone 9a-11b which is around -6.7°C (20°F). If you live in a cold area, it is better to plant F. Variegata in an indoor environment. As long as it gets enough sunlight, the plant will grow happily.
